Pasan Jayawickrema

Pasan Jayawickrema has extensive experience in the IT field, starting in 2004 as an IT Support Analyst at Auckland University of Technology. Pasan then worked at the Institute of Applied Learning from 2004 to 2005 and again from 2008 to 2010 in the same role. In 2010, they joined NewEra IT as a Network Technician and later moved to Dataline Networks in 2012, where they served as a System Administrator/IT Analyst until 2017. Currently, Pasan Jayawickrema holds the position of Azure Chapter Lead/Senior Cloud Architect at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, starting from 2018.

Pasan Jayawickrema has a Diploma in Information Technology from Auckland University of Technology, which was obtained from 2006 to 2008. Pasan also has a University Entrance from Mount Albert Grammar, where they studied Calculus, Physics, and Statistics from 1996 to 2000. In 2009, Pasan attended the Institute of Applied Learning and became a Microsoft certified Systems Engineer. In 2016, they received the Sonicwall Certified Administrator qualification from Dell Sonicwall. Additionally, Pasan has obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, and multiple Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications.
