Derrick Chua

Derrick Chua is a Software Engineer with a diverse background in platform and infrastructure development. Currently employed at Abnormal Security since June 2022, Derrick previously worked at ByteDance, where Derrick developed an analytical cloud database based on ClickHouse. Derrick has also gained experience at the National University of Singapore as a Linux Distribution Maintainer and completed multiple internships at DSO National Laboratories, contributing to projects involving cognitive systems and conversational AI. Derrick's early experience includes developing a racing arcade machine at Tinkertanker. Derrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, completing the program in 2020.
