Vidar Aksland is the Head of Innovation and IT Development at SpareBank 1 SR-Bank, leading the SR Innovation Lab to develop and deliver innovative products and services. Additionally, Vidar serves as the Chief Security Officer at the same company. Vidar is also the CEO of Finstart Nordic and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Beaufort Solutions. Vidar is involved in various other companies as a Board Member or Chairman, showing their expertise in both innovation and business leadership. With a background in the Norwegian Armed Forces and education in business strategy and development, Vidar brings a wealth of experience to their roles.

Nordic Edge is a non-profit organization working in close cooperation with private companies, municipalities, academia and citizens towards smarter and more sustainable cities and communities.
