Elina Seppänen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in various roles related to human resources and management. Most recently, they served as the Head of People & Culture at Nordic Healthcare Group and as the Founder of Deripro, where they provided HR services. Prior to that, they worked at Sofigate as a Senior Advisor in HR Business Technology, HR4 Solutions Oy as a Consultant in HRM/HRD consulting and in-house HR management, and Tieto as a Senior HR Project Manager and Senior Business Manager. Elina also worked as an HR Business Partner at Accenture Oy and as the Global Human Resources & Administration Manager at Global Intelligence Alliance Group Oy before it became M-Brain. Throughout their career, Elina has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of HR, including HR strategy planning, performance management, talent management, and compensation and benefits.
Elina Seppänen pursued their education at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences. From 1999 to 2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business/Managerial Economics. Subsequently, from 2003 to 2005, they completed a Professional Development Program in International Operations at the same institution.
In addition to their formal education, Elina has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Elina completed courses such as "Finance for Non-Financial Professionals," "Introduction to Sales," "Leadership Training," and "Project Management for Experts" from GoSkills.com in May 2020. Prior to that, in August 2019, they acquired certifications in "Scrum for Scrum Masters" and "Scrum for Managers" from the same online platform. Moreover, Elina achieved the status of a Certified ICT Management Professional (CIMP) from ICT Standard Forum in December 2014, as well as becoming a Certified ICT Standard Professional (CISP) in August 2014.
