Duncan Aust

Duncan Aust Ph.D currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at AgroFresh since August 2021 and has been a Mentor at the Nordic Mentor Network for Entrepreneurship (NOME) since February 2021. Additionally, Duncan holds a position as a Board Member at FaunaPhotonics since November 2020 and was a Business Advisor at the BioInnovation Institute / Copenhagen University for a brief period in early 2021. Previously, from August 2010 to December 2020, Duncan led Plant Health Global R&D and EMEA R&D at FMC Corporation, where Duncan also held the role of Global Director Innovation for the APG Group. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Healthpoint from February 2005 to August 2010, Vice President of Research & Development at DPT Laboratories from 2002 to 2005, and Director of Development Services at The Collaborative Group, Ltd. from 1995 to 2000. Duncan earned a Ph.D in Biotechnology from King's College London, completing studies from 1986 to 1994.
