Saravanan Sonaisamy

Saravanan Sonaisamy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Saravanan currently serves as the Managing Director of the Cloud & Enterprise Platform Solutions Practice at Nordic Global, where they lead a team in creating and implementing cloud-based solutions for healthcare and clinical operations. Additionally, they work closely with healthcare leaders from Microsoft and AWS to support customers' digital transformation needs using cloud native solutions.

Prior to their current role, Saravanan held the position of Cloud Practice & Partner Alliance Lead at Nordic Global, where they enhanced the team's cloud capabilities and established partnerships with AWS, Azure, and Virtustream. Saravanan also created strategic go-to-market solutions and formed a Cloud Center of Excellence.

Before joining Nordic Global, Saravanan worked at Cognizant for ten years as an Engagement Partner for strategic accounts, specializing in large-scale datacenter migrations and establishing global IT managed services. Saravanan also provided advisory services on IT governance and information security operations.

Earlier in their career, Saravanan held managerial roles at D&B TransUnion Analytic and Decision Services Pvt. Ltd. and Wipro Technologies. At D&B TransUnion, they established and managed an offshore IT infrastructure delivery center and was part of the IT PMO Leadership committee. At Wipro Technologies, they served as an onshore customer relationship lead and coordinator for Nestle, ensuring the availability of datacenters and transforming the technology environment.

Saravanan's career began at IBM Global Services, where they were a systems operations lead specialist, managing a team to support Windows, AIX, and backup operations. Saravanan'sfirst professional role was at Greenrose Computer Services Pvt Ltd, where they served as a field technical engineer, gaining experience in computer maintenance, implementation of Windows NT systems, and establishing data networks for various banks in Mumbai.

Throughout their career, Saravanan has demonstrated leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Saravanan Sonaisamy has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Madurai Kamraj University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their D.C.Tech in Computer Hardware from Ramu Seetha Polytechnic from 1996 to 1999. Saravanan also attended Seventh Day Adventist Matriculation School for high school from 1994 to 1996. In terms of additional certifications, Saravanan has obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in both 2019 and 2022. Saravanan has also earned the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification in 2020 and completed training for ITIL Foundation Level and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification.
