The Web Design team is responsible for creating an engaging web presence to boost user acquisition and satisfaction. By identifying and addressing key issues, we design solutions that range from technical approaches to human-centered methods. In this role, you will focus on designing a visually compelling and user-friendly NordLayer website. You’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing peers on a variety of projects, from global campaigns to new business initiatives. Additionally, as a web designer, you'll work alongside copywriters, web content managers, graphic designers, and engineers to bring the best websites to life.

Main Responsibilites

  • Create engaging web pages that enhance conversion rates and ensure a seamless experience across our website;
  • Deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business needs;
  • Maintain and expand the design system in a strategic and sustainable way;
  • Analyze current website patterns and flows and proactively suggest web UX/UI improvements to drive innovation, consistency, clarity and ease of use for end users;
  • Work closely with engineers, web content managers, copywriters, graphic designers, SEO managers, data analytics & other stakeholders for cross-team collaborations.

Core requirements

  • Proven experience in web design with a portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating engaging web pages;
  • Proficiency in Figma, staying up-to-date with the latest feature releases and implementing them to optimize processes;
  • Experience working with design systems;
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating pixel-perfect UI and intuitive user experiences;
  • Ability to autonomously and proactively identify problems and opportunities and implement improvements;
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar) or A/B testing tools;
  • Experience working with B2B/SaaS products is a strong plus;
  • Great communication and presentation skills, critical thinking, and the ability to rationalize your design choices and their impact on growth metrics to stakeholders;
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and maintain a strong sense of ownership;
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with all stakeholder groups;
  • A true team player;
  • Fluency in English.

Salary Range

  • Gross Salary 3150 - 5960 EUR/Month
