Viktor Wang

Viktor Wang has a diverse work experience in various industries. Viktor started their career as an intern at the Goethe-Institut e.V. in 2013, where they gained valuable skills and knowledge. Viktor then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2014. In 2013, they also worked as an Editorial Assistant at ZDF, specifically in the Heute-news department.

Moving forward, Viktor interned at the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service in 2015, further developing their skills and expertise. In 2017, they joined the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany Washington as an intern in the Department of Public Diplomacy, where they supported various projects and contributed to communication strategies.

In 2019, Viktor joined APCO Worldwide as a Public Affairs/PR Consultant, specializing in Tech, FinTech, Sustainability, and Future Mobility. Viktor demonstrated expertise in lobbying, crisis communication, stakeholder relations, issue management, and corporate affairs. Viktor also handled project and budget responsibilities, showcased team leadership, and provided coaching on various tools and practices. Viktor received recognition for their contributions, including the PR Report Award 2019 and the APCO Impact Award for the "Initiative Rosi" social media campaign supporting a gynecological clinic.

In 2020, Viktor gained experience through roles at the Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) Germany and NATO as a Finalist in Diplomacy and Strategic Response & Communications, respectively. Viktor then joined Kerberos Compliance in 2021 as a Public Relations Manager (PR/Public Affairs), managing customer-friendly, digital, and legally compliant solutions for money laundering prevention. Viktor later transitioned to the role of Senior Associate Marketing and Communications (PR/Public Affairs) at the same company.

Viktor's most recent work experience is at NordVPN, where they serve as the Public Relations Manager DACH since September 2022. NordVPN is a renowned online security solution trusted by millions worldwide. Viktor contributes to maintaining and promoting privacy and security services through advanced encryption and privacy features.

Throughout their career, Viktor Wang has demonstrated a strong passion for public relations, communications, and diplomacy, gaining expertise in various industries and contributing to the success of each organization they worked with.

Viktor Wang started their education at Gymnasium Vegesack/Academy for Aspiring Engineers, where they obtained a University Entry Diploma "Abitur" with a focus on A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, German, Economy, and English. Viktor then proceeded to Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from 2011 to 2015. During their undergraduate studies, Viktor also participated in a study abroad program at the University of Vienna from 2012 to 2013. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Humanities at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2015 to 2018. In addition, Viktor obtained a Master of Letters degree from the University of St Andrews in 2017.
