Ben Edwards

Ben Edwards is a Senior Energy Analyst at NORESCO since April 2022, focusing on developing state energy stretch codes and creating a unified state model prototype. Prior to this role, Ben served as a Senior Associate at Mathis Consulting Company from March 2010 to April 2022, specializing in parametric building energy/carbon modeling and strategic planning for sustainable market transformation. Ben also held a position as Councilman for the Town of Spindale from 2014 to 2017, where responsibilities included ordinance development and budget management. Earlier experience includes working as an Environmental Health Inspector for the RPM Health Department in 2008-2009, focusing on water protection design and enforcement of regulations, and as part of the Data Operations team at SportsMEDIA Technology Corp from 2006 to 2008, where technical support for data synchronization was provided. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Davidson College, completed in 2002, and attended the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 1996 to 1998.
