David Mowery

David Mowery is an experienced energy engineering professional with a career spanning over two decades. Since July 1998, David has served as the Director of Energy Engineering at NORESCO, overseeing energy engineering functions for non-federal energy savings performance contracts nationwide, and supervising a team of engineers in conducting audits and developing energy conservation projects. Prior roles include National Manager of Energy Engineering, Manager of Development & Engineering for the Southeast, and Senior Energy Engineer at NORESCO, as well as Project Engineer at XENERGY, Inc., where energy audits for commercial facilities were conducted. David began their career as an Energy Engineer at the Industrial Energy Center, focusing on energy efficiency studies. David holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
