Dana Buttera

Dana Buttera is an experienced professional in software engineering and portfolio management, currently serving as the Director of the Lean Portfolio Office at Norfolk Southern since April 2020, after holding the position of Manager of Agility and DevOps. From March 2013 to February 2020, Dana worked at Macy's Tech as the Director of Software Engineering, where leadership was demonstrated over development teams utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Lean methodologies, managing annual capital and expense budgets of $14 million and overseeing teams of up to 100 members. Previous experience includes a decade at Macy's Systems & Technology Inc, progressing from Software Quality Assurance Manager to Software Engineering Manager, leading large-scale delivery teams with budgets up to $10 million and managing extensive testing resources across numerous applications. Education was obtained at Miami Dade College.
