Michael Williams

Michael Williams serves as the Director of Planning and Yield for Domestic Intermodal at Norfolk Southern, having transitioned into this role from Group Manager of Intermodal Business Development. With a robust career at Norfolk Southern Corporation since 2013, Michael has effectively managed significant client accounts, overseeing annual revenues exceeding $350 million. Highlights of Michael's tenure include strategic leadership in cross-functional initiatives, delivering substantial volume and revenue growth, and fostering strong customer relationships in the automotive logistics sector. Prior to joining Norfolk Southern, Michael held positions in sales and logistics at Schneider Logistics and has experience in athletic coaching as a Graduate Assistant at Southern Polytechnic State University. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from Southern Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from DePaul University.
