Caroline Klæth Eriksen has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Caroline Klæth most recently worked at Norges Bank Investment Management, starting in April 2018 as an Analyst and later moving on to become a Senior Analyst - Sustainability/Corporate Governance in March 2021. In April 2022, they were promoted to the position of Head of Social Initiatives, Corporate Governance, where they are currently employed.

Prior to their work at Norges Bank, Caroline worked as an Adviser at Sivilombudet, with the Norwegian Parliamentary Ombudsman. In this role, they focused on preventing torture and ill-treatment by conducting visits to places of detention and identifying risk factors. Caroline Klæth worked in this capacity from October 2014 to April 2018.

Caroline also gained experience in the international human rights sector, working at Human Rights Watch as an Associate and later as a Coordinator from September 2011 to April 2014. Caroline Klæth also worked as an Education Adviser at UNESCO from January 2011 to September 2011.

Before their international work, Caroline had a brief experience at The Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations as an Assistant Attaché from August 2010 to December 2010. Caroline Klæth also worked as a Consultant at The Brussels Office from September 2008 to July 2009.

Caroline's career in human rights began with an internship at Human Rights Watch as a Development and Outreach Intern from March 2008 to July 2008.

Caroline Klæth Eriksen began their education journey in 2005, when they attended The American University of Paris. Caroline Klæth studied International Affairs from 2005 to 2008 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2007, they briefly attended the University of Cape Town, where they focused on International Relations and Affairs.

Caroline then pursued further studies at Columbia University, starting in 2009 and completing in 2011. During their time at Columbia, they specialized in Human Rights Studies and earned a Master of Arts degree.
