Head Of Environmental Team - Active Ownership at Norges Bank Investment Management

Eivind Fliflet has extensive work experience in the field of sustainability and corporate governance. Eivind started their career at Norsk Sjømatsenter/Fiskeriforum Vest as a Project Coordinator from June 2010 to September 2011. Eivind then joined McKinsey & Company as an Intern in May 2012. Eivind later worked at sb factory where they conducted a consulting mission, writing a detailed report on the implementation of Social Impact Bonds in France in January 2013. Eivind then returned to McKinsey & Company as an Associate from September 2013 to January 2016, where they focused on sustainability topics for clients in the oil and gas, telecom industries, as well as governmental ministries.

In 2016, Eivind joined Norsk Gjenvinning as a Senior Analyst in the Strategy & Sustainability department, and later became a Project Manager in the same department from April 2017 to December 2017. Currently, Eivind is working at Norges Bank Investment Management, starting as an Analyst in January 2018, then progressing to the role of Senior Analyst in March 2020, and now serving as the Head of Environmental Initiatives - Corporate Governance since July 2021.

Eivind Fliflet obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2008-2011. Eivind then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration, with a major in Finance, at NHH from 2011 to 2013. During their studies, they attended an exchange program at SKEMA Business School in 2010, where they obtained a BSc in Business and Economics. In 2012-2013, they furthered their education at HEC Paris, earning a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development.
