Katja Henriette Wass

Katja Henriette Wass has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Katja Henriette began their career in 1987 as a Financial Services Consultant at Roskilde Bank A/S. Katja Henriette then worked as a Mortgage Consultant at NYKREDIT A/S before returning to Roskilde Bank A/S as a Mortgage Manager. In 2004, Wass joined Svenska Handelsbanken as Chief Customer Manager and later worked as an Account Manager - Back Office in the Danish Settlement Team. Katja Henriette then worked at SimCorp as a Financial Consultant, teaching SimCorp Dimension to partners and clients. Wass also worked at Experian Decision Analytics as a Project Manager, responsible for strategic planning, sales, and business development. Katja Henriette then joined Alm Brand as a Senior Business Analyst, focusing on SimCorp Dimension and Middle Office - IT. Katja Henriette also held the role of Business Architect / System Manager, overseeing the system management of SimCorp Dimension and handling relationship management between vendors, business units, and IT. At BEC, Wass worked as a Business Architect / System Manager, specializing in Business Architecture and Analysis in the payments area. In 2017, they became a Board Member at the European Payments Council (EPC). Wass is currently working at Norges Bank Investment Management as a Senior System Manager, and they have also held the position of Problem Manager / IT Change Manager.

Katja Henriette Wass has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields of study and certifications. Katja Henriette obtained a Master's Degree in IT-Management, Architecture, and Strategy from IT-Universitetet i København from 2013 to 2016. Katja Henriette also attended the Enterprise Architect Summer School at IT-Universitetet i København in August 2014, 2015, and 2017.

Prior to their IT education, Wass attended Helsingin Aikuisopisto in 2005 and 2006, where they obtained a Diploma in Finnish Language. In 2001, they studied Business at West London College, focusing on Law, Social Science, Investment, and Real Property.

Wass also has a Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, which they earned from 1991 to 1995. During their time at Roskilde Handelsskole from 1988 to 1990, they specialized in Retail, Corporate, and Private Banking as part of their School of Banking education. Their high school education was completed at Roskilde Katedralskole from 1984 to 1987, with a focus on Mathematics and Social Science. Wass had their primary education at Klostermarksskolen, where they attended from 1974 to 1984.

In addition to their formal education, Wass has obtained several certifications. Katja Henriette became ITIL Foundation Level certified by AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2021. In May 2020, they obtained the Certified Agile IT Service Manager certification from The Knowledge Academy. Wass also holds certifications from Scrum Alliance, including Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), obtained in March 2017. Katja Henriette further earned the Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2018.
