Senior Portfolio Manager - Fixed Income at Norges Bank Investment Management

Kristine Kjos has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Kristine began their career as an Internship Corporate Finance Analyst at DNB in 2008. Kristine then interned in Internal Audit at UniCredit in 2010. After that, they joined Swedbank as a Graduate Trainee. In 2011, they joined Norges Bank Investment Management as an Analyst in Allocation Strategies, and later moved into the role of Associate Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income Emerging Markets. Kristine then became a Portfolio Manager in the same department, where they specialized in emerging markets. In 2019, they briefly left Norges Bank Investment Management to pursue a different role, but returned in 2020 and has since been working as a Senior Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income.

Kristine Kjos has a diverse education history. Kristine completed their BSc in Economics and Business Administration at Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga from 2005 to 2008. In 2007 and 2008, they participated in the ERASMUS program at HEC Management School - University of Liège. Kristine then attended Georgetown University in 2008, where they received a Summer School Diploma from the American Institute on Political and Economic Systems. Continuing their education, Kristine pursued an MSc in International Business and Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2008 to 2010. Kristine also obtained an MSc in Finance from Università Bocconi in 2009 and 2010. Lastly, in 2013 and 2015, Kristine passed Level III of the CFA Institute.
