Head Of Communications at Norges Bank Investment Management

Line Aaltvedt has extensive work experience in various roles in communications and journalism. Line began their career as a journalist at Stavanger Aftenblad in 2005, where they worked until 2006. Line then joined NTB as a journalist from 2007 to 2008. In 2011, Line returned to NTB as a journalist and worked there until 2012. Line then interned at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beirut under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2012. Line became a Communications Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013 and worked there until 2014. Since 2014, they have been with Norges Bank Investment Management, starting as an Advisor in Communications and External Relations until 2018. Line then became a Manager in Communications and External Relations until 2022, when they became the Head of Media and Internal Communications.

Line Aaltvedt has a diverse education history with a focus on international relations, languages, and journalism. Line obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Bond University in 2006 and continued their studies in the field by pursuing another Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Oslo and Akershus University College from 2004 to 2007. In 2006, Line started their Bachelor's degree in International Studies at the University of Oslo (UiO) and completed it in 2009. Line furthered their studies in the field of international relations by obtaining a Bachelor's degree from Sciences Po in 2009 and a Master's degree in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2011. In addition, Line also spent some time at Universitat de Barcelona in 2009-2010 to immerse herself in the study of Spanish language.
