Roger Rake

Roger Rake has a strong background in performance, risk measurement, and valuation within the financial industry. Roger started their career in 1994 as an Analyst Middle Office at Christiania Markets, where they were responsible for risk and performance measurement and reporting for fixed income products. In 2000, they became the Head of Middle Office at Gjensidige NOR Asset Management, leading a group of 8 employees and overseeing performance and risk measurement, mutual funds valuation, and investment limit monitoring.

After that, Roger joined DnB NOR Asset Management in 2004 as the Head of Corporate Action and Pricing, where they centralized a unit in Oslo by relocating tasks and employees from Bergen and Stockholm.

In 2005, Roger moved to Norges Bank Investment Management, where they held multiple positions. From 2005 to 2006, they served as the Head of Performance, leading a team responsible for measuring, attributing, and reporting the Fund's performance. In 2007, they became the Head of Risk & Performance, managing a group involved in measuring, attributing, and reporting the Fund's performance and risk. Lastly, from 2008 onwards, Roger became the Head of Performance, Attribution & Valuation, leading a team that verified valuations for various instruments within the Fund management.

Roger Rake's education history includes several notable achievements. In 1987 to 1988, they completed an elementary course in mathematics at Molde University College. Following this, from 1990 to 1994, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance at BI-Norwegian School of Management in Sandvika.
