Sven-Erik Børresen

Sven-Erik Børresen is an experienced professional in information security risk management and digital technology implementation, currently serving as Lead Advisor Information Security Risk at Norges Bank Investment Management since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Section Digital Grid and Digital Risk Manager at Statnett SF, where responsibilities involved ensuring the safe management of digital technology to enhance power system performance and cyber security. Additional experience includes positions at Shell as Senior Engineer & Technology Lead, DNV GL as Senior Consultant and Segment Director for Power Transmission & Distribution, and PwC as Senior Consultant. Sven-Erik holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has completed a company-customized Data Science academy. Military service as Corporal in the Norwegian Armed Forces was also part of Sven-Erik's background.
