Ross Doherty

Ross Doherty has over 18 years of work experience in the IT industry. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as ICT Manager/Network Administrator at NHS Health Scotland, Web Support Engineer at Scottish Widows PLC, and Remote Support Engineer at SAP. In 2008, they moved to Hewlett-Packard as Licensing Manager and then to ICEGroup as Group IT Manager in 2009. From 2013 to 2018, they held several roles at SAP, such as Strategy Principal, Team Manager, Delivery Manager, and FSN Global Lead. In 2018, they joined SAP.IO as Venture Partner for the SAP.iO Venture Studio. Most recently, they were appointed as Director Of Portfolio & Ecosystem at Normative.io in 2022.

Ross Doherty's education history includes attending St. Nathy's College from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate. Ross then attended the University of Galway from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a BA Arts in Political Science and Sociology and Information Technology. From 2009 to 2013, they attended the University of Galway again, where they obtained a B.SC IT (Hons) in Computer Science and Information Technology. Ross then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation Management from 2018 to 2019, and an MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from 2017 to 2019, both at the University of Galway. Most recently, they obtained a Certificate in Strategic Management from Galway Business School in 2021. Ross also holds a number of certifications from institutions such as Microsoft, VMWare, Adobe, PMI, EDI, and Hewlett-Packard.
