Ria de Korte

Ria De Korte currently serves as Beleidsmedewerker VWS at Nieuw Sociaal Contract and is a candidate member for the Tweede Kamer, holding the 28th position on the party list. Since July 2022, Ria has also been a gemeenteraadslid for Lokaal en Fair De Ronde Venen and a member of the Raad van Toezicht at Stichting Christelijk Verpleeghuis Norschoten since April 2020. Ria's previous roles include being a member of the CDA and serving as a CDA gemeenteraadslid where responsibilities included being woordvoerder Zorg and chairing finance and administrative affairs committees. Ria has an academic background as a Docent Verpleegkunde and researcher at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, with a PhD in Medicine from VU Amsterdam, focusing on hospitalizations at the end of life. Ria's early career involved project leadership at Vilans and teaching health sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
