Harald Folkedahl

Harald Folkedahl has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position was as the SVP - Group Head of People & Culture at Norsk Gjenvinning, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Global VP People & Organisation - CHRO at Hurtigruten Group from March 2021 to February 2023. In this role, they led a major transformation of the company and the P&O function, including establishing a new global headquarters in London.

Before joining Hurtigruten Group, Harald worked at The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defence as Director from September 2020 to March 2021. Harald also held positions at Schibsted, Yara International, Sariba AS, Innherred Joint Municipality, Telenor, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean & Solutions, and Aker Kvaerner, where they took on various leadership and strategic roles in the fields of HR, People & Organization, and Organizational Development. In these roles, they delivered business value through managing transformations, leading projects, and driving strategic initiatives.

Harald Folkedahl's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at BI Norwegian Business School and pursued a Master's degree in MS Business and Economics (SIVØK). Harald completed their studies in 2000. Following this, Harald attended Griffith University in 2000 and 2001, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management.

In addition to their formal education, Harald also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 1999, they acquired the Project Management GRA 2130 certification from BI Norwegian Business School. In 2005, they obtained the HUMETRIKA Personal Inventory Test certification from Humetrika. In 2010, they earned the ITIL v03 Foundation certification from Syscom AS. In 2017, they obtained the WORKDAY Fundamentals HCM certification from Workday. Most recently, in 2022, Harald obtained the OPQ and Verify certification from SHL.
