Mari Moren

Mari Moren has extensive work experience in the field of research. Mari started their career as a research fellow at NIFES in 2000 and went on to become a senior researcher and project leader. Mari also served as the head of research and was responsible for the animal experiment department. In 2011, Mari became a research director at NIFES. In 2014, they joined Nofima as a research director and held the same position until 2023. Currently, Mari is working as a research director at NIVA - Norsk institutt for vannforskning.

Mari Moren has a strong educational background with a focus on biology and nutrition. Mari began their education in 1993 at the University of Bergen, where they obtained a degree in Cand. Scient, specializing in biology with a focus on nutrition, biochemistry, and physiology.
