Eduardo González Mazón

Eduardo González Mazón has over 15 years of experience in the solar industry. Eduardo began their career in 2006 as a Scholar at ENSOLNOR. From 2007 to 2021, they held various positions including Electrical Engineer at ICA, Project Engineer at EDF EN Services / EDF ENS, Senior O&M Support / Product Engineer EMEA/APAC at SunPower Corporation, Senior PV Engineer at Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., Senior Engineer Manager at Lightsource BP, and Commercial Operations Manager at Canadian Solar Inc. Most recently, they have been the Head of Engineering at Norsk Solar since 2021.

Eduardo González Mazón has an educational background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Eduardo obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio in 2014. In 2015, they completed a Photovoltaic Material Characterization course at CIEMAT and an Energy Storage Systems course at CIEMAT (Centro investigaciones energéticas, medioambientales y tecnologicas). Eduardo also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Cantabria in 2006. In 2014, they attended a PV-Module Reliability Workshop 2014 at Fraunhofer ISE and JRC in Freiburg, dedicated to topics related to the development of Accelerated Life Tests. Eduardo also attended a Power Quality and Energy Efficiency Course at Leonardo Academy in 2015, a Renewable Energy Integration and Grid Code Compliance workshop at Universidad de Cantabria in 2011, and a Webinar on Performance Improvements by Advanced Data Analysis at SolarPlaza in 2015.
