Rakesh P Iruppattil

Rakesh P Iruppattil has worked in the renewable energy sector for over 20 years. Rakesh began their career in 2000 as a Project Manager at Satyam Computer Services Limited. In 2002, they joined Accenture as a Delivery Manager for Pacific Gas and Electric, California. Rakesh then held roles as an Application Delivery Manager for Sun Chemical, Cincinnati, OH, USA, a Business Development Manager, Transition Manager and Lead Technical Architect and Project Manager for DuPont, Wilmington DE. In 2009, they joined Intelligroup as an Associate Director for Strategic Accounts, with P/L responsibility for all consulting projects assigned to Intelligroup in Essar group companies. In 2010, they joined IBM as a Program Manager, leading integration of operations for NSRP, a green field refinery project based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Rakesh then became Global Delivery Project Executive for BP PLC, responsible for revenue realization, P/L and overall account growth. In 2016, they joined Pristine Energy Consulting as Managing Director, providing consulting services for solar and wind projects in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. In 2021, they joined GreenYellow Asia as Corporate Sustainability consulting and Solar rooftop project development, securing a tender in the apparel industry sector featuring 5 suppliers of brands such as Nike, Lululemon and Arcteryx to implement solar rooftop systems. In 2022, they joined Norsk Solar as Country Manager and CME - Copper Mountain Energy as Director of Sustainability, major deals including 32 MWp of rooftop solar system power purchase agreement with a large electronics manufacturer based in north vietnam and shortlisted to implement 25MWp of RTS projects across 9 off takers in garment industry.

Rakesh P Iruppattil completed a Post graduation in Plastics Engineering from CIPET and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamraj University.
