Joe Dion has extensive experience in supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics. Joe began their career in 1997 as Purchasing & Warehouse Manager at Tru-Stitch Footward, where they managed a staff of 15 employees in the raw material warehouse and implemented an AS400 system to replace the Cardex file system. In 2001, they moved to A. Schonbek & Co., Inc. as Sr. Purchasing Planner, where they managed relationships with 150 global suppliers and drove average annual cost savings of 2.5%. In 2008, they took on the role of Manager Purchasing & Logistics at Swarovski Lighting Business/Schonbek, where they implemented a comprehensive KPI measurement system for suppliers and employed strategies to reduce inventory and shorten lead times. In 2016, they became Materials Manager - North America at IEC Holden, and in 2019 they became the Owner of Poombah Plugs, a manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer of custom, wooden fishing plugs. In 2020, Joe Dion took on the role of Supply Chain Manager at Norsk Titanium.

Joe Dion attended the University of Maine from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management.
