Andreas Gruber-Waltl

Andreas Gruber-Waltl, MMSc, MBA has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andreas started their career as a Construction Engineer at Mannesmann Anlagenbau AG from 1993 to 1997. Andreas then worked as a Process Engineer at Austrian Energy & Environment from 2004 to 2011. After that, they joined ANDRITZ where they held several positions including Team Leader - Process Development from 2011 to 2016, Team Leader - Lean Product Group in 2017, and Director Modernisaton & Retrofits (Sales and Technology) from 2017 to 2019. In 2012, they were also a Co-Owner at VoiGuat OG. Currently, they are working at Norske Skog as the Head of Operations - Energy Systems since 2023 and previously as the Project Management - Erection/Operation Management - Energy System from 2019 to 2023.

Andreas Gruber-Waltl, MMSc, MBA, has a diverse education history. Andreas earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the WU Executive Academy from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical and Mechanical Process Technology from Montanuniversität Leoben between 1997 and 2004. Additionally, they attended Colorado School of Mines from 2002 to 2003, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science and Engineering. Andreas also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed at HTL Saalfelden from 1987 to 1992.
