Vera Polak

Vera Polak has over 25 years of experience in logistics management. Vera currently serves as the Head of Logistics / Sales & Logistics at Norske Skog since October 2020. Before that, they worked as a Strategic Project Manager Logistics at FLSmidth from October 2017 to September 2020. Prior to that, they were a Strategic Logistics Manager at Sandvik from May 2012 to September 2017. Earlier in their career, they held various roles such as Branch Manager and Head of Logistics CEE at Wenzel logistics from August 2005 to April 2012, Head of Logistics CEE at Peter Nock GmbH from January 1999 to July 2005, and Logistics Manager at Panalpina from June 1995 to December 1998. Vera has a strong background in developing and implementing integrated logistics concepts and evaluating logistics services across the supply chain.

From 2014 to 2016, Vera Polak attended WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), where they pursued a degree in Akadem. Logistik & SCM WU, specializing in the field of Logistik & Supply Chain Management.
