Renato Arruk Torres

Renato Arruk Torres is an experienced oceanographer specializing in hydrodynamics and oceanographic equipment. Currently serving as an Especialista em Equipamentos Oceanográficos at Nortek since November 2021, Renato provides consulting support to researchers and scientists throughout their projects. With a background as a Corretor de seguros at Unikx since November 2017, Renato also contributed to research and development at Fundação Espírito-Santense de Tecnologia - FEST from January 2020 to November 2021, focusing on water column sampling and monitoring anchoring activities. Earlier roles include co-owner at RE.CO.IN Representação Comercial and Technical Field Manager at Fundespa from July 2012 to February 2017, where responsibilities included quality system documentation, logistics planning, team management, and technical reporting. Renato holds a Bachelor's degree in Oceanography, with a specialization in Marine Ecotoxicology, from the Instituto Oceanográfico da Universidade de São Paulo (IO - USP).
