Katie McHone-Jones

Katie McHone-Jones has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2009 when they served as an Event Specialist for General Hotels Corporation. Katie was responsible for all weddings held at the hotel, and conducted building tours for potential clients. In 2013, Katie became an Event Manager for the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of the United States of America. There, they were responsible for all events held in the building, and coordinated with all staff on all facets of events. In 2015, they returned to General Hotels Corporation, taking on the roles of Sales Manager and Sales Task Force Manager. As Sales Manager, they were responsible for selling SMERF Market and conducting tours for potential clients. As Sales Task Force Manager, they assisted 36 properties with sales revenue and day-to-day operations, and became acting Director of Sales for two different properties. In 2017, Katie joined the North American Hardware and Paint Association as Director of Member Services & Events and Event Manager & Retailer Support. Finally, in 2019, they co-founded Recovering Too and became a Podcast Host.

Katie McHone-Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Food Management from Ball State University.
