Ahmad Ozair

Ahmad Ozair is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Neurosurgery at the University of Maryland, serving as a Bagley Research Fellow since July 2024. Concurrently, Ahmad is a member of the Workforce Workgroup for the Maryland Commission on Public Health, contributing to assessments of public health capabilities and reform recommendations. In addition, Ahmad serves on the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee of the North American Spine Society and holds editorial board positions with BMC Surgery and the Asian Spine Journal. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at Baptist Health and research roles at King George's Medical University and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Ahmad's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and ongoing studies at the University of Oxford.
