Alexandra Farrell

Alexandra Farrell is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the NC Department of Justice since June 2025. Previously, Alexandra worked as an Associate Attorney at the Southern Environmental Law Center from October 2022 to June 2025, and as a Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court from August 2019 to August 2022. Additional experience includes internships at the United States Attorneys' Offices in 2018 and the Southern Environmental Law Center in 2017, as well as an externship at the North Carolina Court of Appeals in early 2018. Before entering the legal field, Alexandra was a Spanish Teacher at DSST Public Schools from August 2013 to June 2016. Alexandra holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language from the University of Louisville.
