Amy Bednar

Amy Bednar is an experienced educator and instructional coach with over a decade of expertise in middle grades math education. Currently serving as a Learning Coach for the North Carolina Education Corps, Amy previously held the position of Instructional Coach for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where significant student growth was achieved, particularly in 8th grade math. Demonstrated skills include designing and delivering professional development, leading collaborative teams, and implementing data-driven instructional practices. Amy has a robust teaching background, having taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, along with mentoring staff and developing comprehensive curricula. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education from Miami University and a Master's degree in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
