Sam Thorp

Assistant Legal Counsel for Superintendent Searches at North Carolina School Boards Association

Sam Thorp has worked in the legal field since 2016. Sam began their career as an Attorney at Ward and Smith, P.A. in 2016. In 2017, they joined the North Carolina School Boards Association as Assistant Legal Counsel for Superintendent Searches and an Attorney.

Sam Thorp completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008. Sam then went on to obtain their Master of Social Work (MSW) at the same university in 2012. Finally, in 2015, they obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) from Campbell School of Law.
