Kelley Deangelus

Deputy Counsel at North Carolina State Bar

Kelley DeAngelus is currently working as Deputy Counsel at North Carolina State Bar, providing legal advice on grievances against NC attorneys. Previously, Kelley served as an Assistant Public Defender at Wake County Public Defender's Office, representing clients charged with felonies. Kelley also worked as a Staff Attorney at the Center for Death Penalty Litigation, representing death row inmates in post-conviction litigation. Kelley started their career at Fair Trial Initiative as a Law Fellow, assisting with capital trials. Kelley holds a Juris Doctor degree from University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Music from University of Dayton.
