Chris Hicks

Chris Hicks is an accomplished agriculture educator currently serving as an Agriculture Teacher at Lakewood High School since August 2023. Previously, Chris held various instructional roles, including Teacher in Training (TnT) Instructional Leader and Animal Science Instructor at North Carolina Virtual Public School from August 2021. Chris also taught agriculture at Jones County Public Schools and Topsail High School, along with a student teaching position at Eastern Wayne High School. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Agriculture Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Education from the University of Mount Olive. Chris's experience is further complemented by internships in poultry and hog production, and leadership as State Vice President of North Carolina HOSA.
