Fred Hobbs

Fred Hobbs serves as the Program Director at North Central Texas College since August 2023, overseeing the TRIO-Talent Search and Student Support Services. Previously, Fred held the position of Assistant Program Director at the University of North Texas from March 2017 to July 2023, focusing on UNT TRIO Talent Search and managing NASA, NSF, and STEM Pre-Academy grants as a Program Project Coordinator. Fred's experience also includes roles as Youth Pastor at New Beginnings Church, Site Coordinator at Communities In Schools of North Texas, and various positions in media and counseling. Fred's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Media and Communications from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from Salisbury University.
