Keith Smeal

Keith Smeal is an experienced engineering professional in the broadcasting industry, currently serving as Chief Engineer at North Country Public Radio since June 2021. Prior to this role, Smeal was the Regional Director of Engineering for Beasley Media Group in Philadelphia and Wilmington from November 2016 to June 2021, and held various engineering positions at Greater Media, Inc. from 2002 to November 2016, including Director of Technical Operations. During this time, Smeal managed the technical operations for multiple radio stations in New Jersey. Smeal's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Chief Engineer at Greater Media Philadelphia and other firms. Smeal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, completed in 1985, and graduated from Haverford High School in 1981.
