Afanasiy Savvin

Afanasiy Savvin has extensive experience in leadership and innovation, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Alumni Association and Vice President of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at North-Eastern Federal University since November 2013. Previously, Afanasiy held the position of CEO and Co-founder at Replio from August 2017 to October 2018 and was the Managing Director at the Arctic Innovation Center from April 2015 to September 2016. Prior roles include Chief Information Officer and Deputy Principal Engineer at Sakhaenergo, a subsidiary of RusHydro, from November 2008 to November 2013, and Head of System Integration and Telecommunications Department at Display Group from May 2005 to November 2008. Afanasiy also has experience as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer and Mathematical Modelling at North-Eastern Federal University. Educational qualifications include Executive Education in Higher Education Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and IT Management from the Higher School of Economics, along with a Specialist's Degree in Applied Computer Science in Economics from North-Eastern Federal University.
