Connie Glandon has extensive experience in education and operations management, currently serving as the Director of Operations for Continuing Education at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) since August 2000. In this role, Connie oversees day-to-day operations and manages data reporting for the Iowa Department of Education. Additionally, Connie held the position of Charles City Center Director, managing community college operations and facilitating education programs in several areas. Since July 2015, Connie has also worked as a public speaker, engaging audiences of up to 200 people at various events. As a freelance writer since August 2006, Connie contributes a monthly column to the Mason City Globe Gazette and maintains a personal blog. Earlier career roles include Training Manager at Kraft Foods and Quality Control Scientist/Manager at Solvay Animal Health, as well as a brief stint as a junior high school science teacher. Connie Glandon's educational background includes a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry Teacher Education from Wartburg College.
