Susan Hiland is an experienced media professional with over 25 years in journalism, currently serving as the Director of Media and Public Relations for North Kansas City Schools since August 2016. In this role, Susan utilizes extensive skills in media opportunities, storytelling, crisis communication, and staff coaching. Prior to this, Susan worked as an anchor and reporter for FOX 4 WDAF TV for 17 years, delivering compelling newscasts and producing reports. Earlier career highlights include anchoring at WTNH-TV and serving as a Midwest Correspondent for ABC News. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Missouri State University.
