Yancy Unger

Yancy Unger has extensive experience in educational leadership and human resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for North Lawrence Community Schools since August 2018, where a focus is placed on supporting the staff dedicated to student care. Prior roles include Vice President of Network Membership for Modern Teacher, where Yancy promoted partnerships with schools to advance educational modernization, and Director/K-12 Strategic Advisor at Five-Star Technology Solutions, emphasizing sales growth and team recruitment in educational technology. Additionally, Yancy has served as a Director of Innovative Learning, an Innovative Learning Advisor at the Indiana Department of Education, and a Professional Development Consultant at the Indiana Humanities Council. The educational background includes a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership & Learning from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
