Edo Boekholtz

Edo Boekholtz has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Edo started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Fluor Daniel in 1999. Edo then joined Schlumberger in 2000, where they held various roles including Drilling Services Engineer, Service Quality Coach, Field Services Manager, and Service Delivery Manager. During their time at Schlumberger, they were responsible for implementing quality and HSE standards, managing equipment repair and maintenance, and training and developing maintenance teams. In 2006, Edo took a sabbatical before joining Maersk Oil in 2008. At Maersk Oil, they served as a Well Technologist, Senior Well Technologist, and Team Lead for Shuaiba & Nahr Umr Reservoir Management. Edo was involved in the design, development, and execution of unconventional well interventions and was responsible for the maturation of complex workovers in the Al Shaheen field. In 2017, Edo joined North Oil Company Qatar as the Head of Reservoir Management & Operations for Shuaiba & Nahr Umr Reservoirs. Edo then became the Head of Well Excellence, leading a team of Reservoir Engineers and Production Technologists. In these roles, Edo focused on optimizing production and injection, providing operational support, and driving various projects for sub-surface challenges.

Edo Boekholtz attended OSG Nieuwediep from 1986 to 1991 for their secondary education. Following that, they pursued a MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completing their studies from 1991 to 1998.
