Izzat Hanbali

Izzat Hanbali has extensive work experience in the field of production chemical treatment. From 2017, they worked at North Oil Company Qatar as the Production Chemical Lead, where they managed chemical treatment, chemistry and analytical methods, and phase separation optimization. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2017, they held various roles at Maersk Oil, including Senior Chemical Engineer and Senior Environment Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for chemical treatment risk management, QMS audits, transition of TRP for chemical treatment, and environmental impact factors related to produced water treatment. Before joining Maersk Oil, Izzat worked at Ondeo Nalco Energy Services Sarl as a Chemical Account Manager, at Nalco Exxon Energy Chemicals SpA as a Technical Sales & Application Engineer, and at Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company as a Chemical Application Engineer. Izzat started their career as an Environment Engineer Trainee at Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company Ltd in 1993. Throughout their career, Izzat has developed expertise in chemical treatment solution and field application, evaluation and selection of chemical treatment products, and managing all phases of chemical treatment programs.

Izzat Hanbali completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, from 1989 to 1994. Izzat also pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Auditing from BSI Training Academy, although the exact years are not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Izzat Hanbali has obtained several certifications. In February 2018, they received the certification of Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor (EMS-LA) from the Bureau Veritas Group. Izzat became certified as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor for Quality Certification from BSI in October 2015. In October 2009, they obtained the certification of Lead Auditor ISO9001-2010 from IMSA-International Municipal Signal Association. Furthermore, in December 2006, they received the certification of Chemical Treatment Specialist from NACE International.
