Head Of Petroleum Architects (also Called Field Development Manager) at North Oil Company Qatar

Ludovic Le Gurun's work experience began in 2000 as a Drilling & Wells Manager at Total E&P Libya. Ludovic then moved on to Total in 2005 as a Petroleum Architect. In 2003, they joined Total E&P Brunei as an Operations Manager, where they were responsible for field operations, engineering, and construction works. Ludovic also coordinated the supply chain support for affiliate activities.

From 2013 to 2015, Ludovic worked at Baker Hughes as a Field Management Projects Director for the Middle East & Asia Pacific region, and later as a Project Director for the Asia Pacific region.

In 2016, they worked as an O&G Asset management consultant, providing consulting services for asset valorization and organizational process reviews, including cost reduction initiatives and M&A opportunities.

Most recently, Ludovic joined North Oil Company Qatar in 2017 as the Head of Petroleum Architects, also known as the Field Development Manager. In this role, they led a team responsible for the Field Development Plan, delivering development opportunities and coordinating with various entities.

Throughout their career, Ludovic has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on operational excellence and safety. Ludovic has expertise in drilling, completion, and well servicing activities, as well as prospect evaluations and development planning.

Ludovic Le Gurun started their education in 1989 at École Polytechnique, where they pursued a Master's degree. Ludovic completed this program in 1992. Following that, from 1992 to 1993, they attended the Institut Française du Pétrole (IFP) - ENSPM, where they obtained a Master of Sciences (MsC) degree in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development.
