Operations Geologist at North Oil Company Qatar

Martin Bell has a diverse work experience in the field of geology, particularly in the oil and gas industry. Martin has worked with various companies and held different roles during their career.

From 2004 to 2007, Martin worked as a Wellsite Geologist and Operations Geologist at Anadarko Petroleum, where they were responsible for geological operations on-site.

Martin then joined Maersk Oil Qatar in 2007 as a Wellsite Geologist, where they continued to work until 2009.

In 2010, Martin returned to Anadarko Petroleum as a Wellsite Geologist, and later that year, they also worked as a Wellsite Geologist at the same time for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.

In 2011, they joined Cairn Energy as a Wellsite Geologist for a brief period.

Martin joined Qatar Petroleum in 2012, where they worked as a Wellsite Geologist until 2013.

From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Operations Geologist at Maersk Oil Qatar, where they were involved in planning, monitoring, and interpretation of well-related geological activities.

In 2016, Martin worked as a Senior Wellsite Geologist at Maersk Oil Qatar, focusing on the Al Shaheen field and successfully following high porosity targets in Cretaceous carbonate reservoirs.

Since 2017, they have been employed by North Oil Company Qatar as an Operations Geologist.

Martin Bell attended Churston Grammar School from 1986 to 1993. After graduating from Churston, they went on to study at Imperial College London from 1993 to 1996. At Imperial College, Martin earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a 2.1 in Geology with Palaeontology.
