James Brophy

James Brophy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James started their career at the North Penn YMCA in 2008, where they worked as a Business Office Assistant until March 2014. James then transitioned to the role of Site Director at the same organization from January 2012 to September 2015. In 2012, they also worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Souderton Area School District, where they remained until May 2017. Next, they joined the Indian Valley Family YMCA as a Youth & Teen Program Manager from September 2015 to June 2016. In 2016, they joined the Municipality of Norristown as a Finance Coordinator, a position they still hold. Most recently, they became the Youth & Family Director at the North Penn YMCA in April 2019.

James Brophy completed their high school education at Souderton Area High School from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they attended Montgomery County Community College from 2005 to 2008, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Lastly, they pursued further studies at Temple University College of Education and Human Development from 2008 to 2012, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.
