Laura Mitchell-Miles

Laura Mitchell-Miles currently serves as the Family Wellbeing Team Manager at North Somerset Council, overseeing a diverse team focused on UK resettlement, parenting support, and strengthening family connections. Previously, Laura worked at Somerset County Council as a Team Manager, leading adolescent intervention efforts and conducting emergency crisis work. Prior experience includes a decade as a Certified Play Therapist at Long Cross Primary School, where Laura developed expertise in early childhood and supported children with complex medical and additional needs, alongside training as a hospital play specialist and earning a postgraduate diploma in play therapy.
