Martin Peoples has extensive experience in the field of technology-enhanced learning and support. Martin started their career as a Manager at the JISC Regional Support Centre of N Ireland in 2004, where they provided advice and training to FE Colleges on using technology to enhance learning and teaching. Their responsibilities included developing information and learning technology strategies, supporting teaching staff in finding and using e-learning materials, and facilitating collaborative support networks.

In 2008, Martin joined NWRC as the Head of Technology Enhanced Learning and Support. In this role, they led a team that provided support and guidance to staff in utilizing technology to deliver and support learning. Their work focused on using technology to improve learning effectiveness and enjoyment, as well as developing reporting tools for better decision-making. Martin also prioritized supporting students' enthusiasm for learning, keeping them connected to colleagues and teachers, and exploring the use of mobile tools and technology for project-based learning.

Martin Peoples attended Ulster University from 1982 to 1985, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). During this period, they focused on studying Computer Science and Business.
