Abdelrahman O. Elsayed, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of museology and museum studies with extensive experience across various prominent organizations. Since May 2015, Abdelrahman has served as the Editor in Chief for the International Council of Museums, overseeing publication standards and team development. Additionally, Abdelrahman holds multiple roles, including Treasurer for the ICOM-Arab Organization of Museums and a Board Member for both the ICOM-ICME International Committee and the Scientific Committee for Museums Scenarios under the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Previous positions include Technical Office Manager at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Chief Curator at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Museum Educator at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, and Museum Curator at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Abdelrahman earned a PhD in Museology from Helwan University Cairo, along with a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology from Cairo University.
